Paul (midnitoker)
Yet another programmer (YAP) to add my skills. Employed from 1964 to `81 doing mainly business apps, loan interests, statistics, payroll, the last 3 years as sys analyst in charge of IT dept with 4 programmers. All useless in a no-money society.
Became self-employed to write a printer driver and cheque-book app for the Spectrum while thinking about a nav system (before GPS and tom-tom) and later invested in the Amiga. That was the best platform at the time, but was turfed out by micro$oft who took over the world.
After that no jobs for me due to age, and too much experience to be brainwashed - accused of being overqualified! Now retired - not by choice - but still like to code, or hack (which doesn`t mean breaking into systems, just to improvise) close to the hardware, a skill that might be useful to tie more and more sensor/control devices into the overall automated resource management and transport systems. More on my website.

James Stallard (InfoPunkie), Portsmouth
I love to learn and spread information, I am not really a speaker, although I love to educate other humans if they'll actually listen. I am very interested in technology and use both Windows and Linux and have tried Mac so I am fairly familiar with all systems (and can learn a new one quite quickly). I am also interested in humans and their behaviour (part of the reason I found the zeitgeist movement) so I am also interested in Psychology, when it comes to information I'm like a sponge as long as it is in the right format. I have some land set aside for us to use if we need to grow food, it is three and a half acres.
