Re: Peterborough

Hey there,

My name is Dale and I'm from Ipswich. Great to have you part of the East Anglia Chapter!
We've only just started on this region of England. I hope that we can meet very soon in the near future as I feel it would be a good idea to eventually have a meeting for the East Anglia region once we have a few more members involved. Dane is also from Peterborough and you can find him on this forum - you might want to get in contact with him for the Peterborough area.

Re: Peterborough

Yes, that's a great idea. I was actually thinking if there is any people, who might be from East Anglia, cause I have not seen a meeting arranged in those areas, if there was one, I would off definitely came.

Good that there is some people in our town, at least 2, which makes difference for me, because working alone would off been a bit of upsetting for me.

Michael - see this thread:

and post in there are any ideas about where and when to arrange an East Anglia meeting. At the moment, I'm being patient to see how many people from our region are interested in turning up to one in the near future.

Re: Peterborough

I am in Peterborough, too, and have been thinking of starting a Peterborough chapter (perhaps very simply with a FaceBook page).

Ipswich is rather far a place to travel to from Peterborough; I feel more smaller, local, chapters are needed and can be very beneficial.

Re: Peterborough

Hi Pacificus i would be happy to help you out with getting things started here, one of the problems that we have run into is a venue to hold the meeting, do you have any suggestions?

Thanks Dane.

Re: Peterborough

I have a couple of ideas for arranging a venue; I will look into them. Initially, how many attendees do you think the first meeting( would have?

Re: Peterborough

There are only a few people in Peterborough at the mo but there is chance that other people from this region will visit us if we get something set up. I wouldn't expect any more than about 15 people if that helps narrow down a venue.

Thanks Dane.
