Bristol Z Day 2010 - A personal thank you!

Dear Bristol ZM and friends,

A heart felt thank you to all those who stepped up to the plate and helped make Bristol Z Day the success it was! Also tso all those who attended.

Official attendance according the Z Day 2010 official site was 80 but at one point during the day I did count over 100 people!

The thanks especially goes out to:

Olu (long standing Bristol ZM activist)
The flyers were worth the wait and another fine example of your creative contribution to the movement. How could I forgot getting you out of bed and over at my flat at 9am two Saturdays in a row. Thanks to you I was not the only one setting up the venue on the morning of Z Day. Had you not showed up for 9am and got stuck in I would of completely failed to set it up by myself. Also the driving of equipment and people was duly noted. I thought your talk was very well researched and presented, next time we will get you a mic!!

Kieran Dayzero (Bristol ZM Member)
Talk about saving the day. Without you there would of been no sound system, for that I am truly grateful. Sorry we didn't manage to get you to the venue earlier. The stress must of been unbearable.

Scott "Urban Slacker" (new friend of Bristol ZM)
I am sure Kieran would agree that your expertise was what made setting up the PA equipment a reality, for that matter a possibility. Thank you for not only renting us the equipment but getting stuck in to ensure it worked before you left.

Nick Waitz (Member of Permaculture Association and Bristol ZM Member)
Your talk was one of the highlights of the day and my door is always open to you. I am excited by the continued bridges you build between the two organizations.

Mark Boyle (Founder of Free Economy Community - http://justfortheloveofit.org/)
You were quick to show us your support after a last minute invitation. You have become a one of the highlights of Z Day for us all.

Sean Robson (Founder of Bristol ZM)
Thank you on many levels, one for starting Bristol ZM in the first place all those months ago, for your well prepared plus accurate talk on who we are, and of course the mics! I also appreciated your work with Chris on the Bristol ZM Z Day advert and continued friendship through the bad times and good.

Wendy (Bristol ZM member)
I thank both you and your poor car, the number of car trips and sweat it took to bring all the equipment to Z Day has not been under appreciated.. Thank you for getting stuck in.

Babar (Bristol ZM Activist)
For being brave enough to stand up and present a talk on free energy but also for your donations to the various media promotion material such as the banners, Venus project flyers and badges as well as the sound equipment.

Shayne (Bristol ZM Member)
You dug deep into your pockets to ensure we had such a superb venue and you also came to visit me allot during the buildup to Z day which kept me sane, thank you very your unmeasurable enthusiasm.

Chris (Bristol ZM Member)
The Bristol ZM advert for Z Day 2010 would of no doubt increased the awareness of Bristol Z Day and will continue too increase awareness of Bristol ZM and our annual Z Days.

Bands, Lukus and DriveChain (friends of Bristol ZM)
Thank you for traveling to the event and I am soo sorry the venue changed the rules about the evening entertainment at the very last minute. This will never be allowed to happen again and I hope there is no hard feelings.

Dan (TPUC and BZM Member)
I have no doubt that your advert for Z Day on the TPUC site was one of the key factors in what made our event the success it was. I also really appreciate your commitment to attend and film the event.

Carol "The Poem Lady" and her friend Jackie http://thepoemlady.blogspot.com/
Carol, your ad-hoc poetry at the end of each talk was a pleasure to hear and the sort of involvement that makes an event special. Also thanks to your friend, Jackie, who arrived when the doors opened, could see I was swamped with work so took the intuitive, marched over and said, "We have never met, how can I help?", that's the spirit! Thanks for putting the last of the posters up, you even had to buy your own blue tack .

John Harris of TPUC (Founder of TPUC)
I am so sorry you suffered illness on the day of the event, we all hope you feel better soon. Aside from that thank you for agreeing originally to talk on Z Day.

walk-in-beauty (Member of Aberdeen ZM)
For your organization skills in regards to sending us the various media promotion material such as the beautiful banners, Venus project flyers and badges.

Terry (ZM UK Radio Presenter)
You have continued to support us on air and for that I am truly grateful.

TrulyFree and Jararda (London ZM and ZMUK Webmaster)
Thank you for your encouragement from afar and putting a link for Bristol Z Day on the main page.

and last but not least...
Nancy, Shennan, Oli and the rest of Coexist (The Venue Owners)
You really pulled it together for us and become part of the team, it was a pleasure to work with you all. I am sure your not going to miss my constant nagging by texts, e-mails, phone calls and in person. Hopefully our relationship will continue to strengthen as I can see us doing further work together soon.
